Proud descendant of United States veterans.
My father is Navy, serving on submarines during the Vietnam Conflict. My mother, a WAC. My grandfather was an Army Medic during WWII. My great grandfather also Army, served during WWI, helped in hospitals during the Spanish Flu pandemic. I have two known ancestors that fought for the Union during the Civil War and, at the birth of our nation, I am a descendant of two known Patriots from the Revolutionary War.
I am so grateful to the men and women that served in my family, fighting for the this country and the freedom we enjoy everyday. I’m grateful they survived the conflicts and wars, allowing me to live this life. The patriots that fought for liberty. The ones who fought for equality. Those who searched for happiness.
And to the current men and women protecting the United States of America interests today, thank you.
